Toledo LISC and Welcome Toledo-Lucas County are proud partners on the Small Business Resource Days hosted by Economic & Community Development Institute (ECDI) and the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library (TLCPL). This is the second Small Business Resource Day and it will take place on Tuesday, May 23 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM in the McMasters Room at the Main Branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library (325 Michigan St.).

The 2nd Small Business Resource Days is generously sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, including refreshments. Fifth Third Bank will also have their Financial Literacy E-bus parked outside the library, offering credit reports and more, to complement the resource fair and workshops on offer in the Library.

The Small Business Resource Days will include a Resource Center, including representatives available to discuss programs and services to help participants achieve their small business development goals. FDIC Money Smart for Small Business workshops will also be facilitated throughout the day. These workshops provide a practical introduction to topics related to starting and managing a business and are designed to be delivered to new or operating small business owners without formal business training. Other panels and workshops included on May 23rd  are: Business Boost: Using Library Resources to Gain the Competitive Edge, Registering Your Business with the State of Ohio, For the Life of Your Business, Banking Services, and Leveraging Capital to Grow Your Business.

The Small Business Resource Day is open to all and targeted to those interested in resources and tools to help them start or expand a business.
